Beer Goggled: May 2014 Beertography

bud_camera

It’s the end of the month, which means it’s time for my regular roundup of beertography from the last few weeks. Glad to sneak this one in on the very last day possible after a hectic May at work and home, with travel and visitors and distractions, oh my.

Below you’ll find some of my favorite, recent shots, which you may also come across on my Instagram page, Twitter account or even Untappd. All my shots are taken with my iPhone 5 unless otherwise noted. The space where I shoot my photos – around the house – offers somewhat limited opportunities for pretty backdrops, which is why I try to get inventive with my photo ideas.

Let’s see what May had to offer…

Westbrook Gose – Sour, Salty, Simple

Lakefront Brewery Fuel Cafe – Late Night Jolt

Also, I’ve started what I hope to be a series of fiction posts to help my creative juices. You may have come across this recent post which featured Rhinegeist Brewery’s Truth:

  1. How’d you like the Gose? I had it during a nasty hangover on a bachelors party and it snapped me out. I’ve had in since then and find it very refreshing.

    1. Love love love. Westbrook can do no wrong.

      1. Agreed. Sampled plenty more of their ware before the bachelor party fun began (and I could remember) and found the product stellar. Can you buy it in Raleigh? I’m on the SC border so I easily have it in my fridge.

      2. Sadly, no. All their beer I’ve ever had was because of trips into SC or being lucky enough to have someone bring it to me!
