The Eye of the Beerholder: April 2014 Beertography

bud_camera

It’s the end of the month, which means it’s time for my regular roundup of beertography from the last few weeks.

Below you’ll find some of my favorite, recent shots, which you may also come across on my Instagram page, Twitter account or even Untappd. All my shots are taken with my iPhone 5 unless otherwise noted. The space where I shoot my photos – around the house – offers somewhat limited opportunities for pretty backdrops, which is why I try to get inventive with my photo ideas.

Let’s see what April had to offer…

Big Boss Zombie – Bringing Dead Back to Life

Dogfish Head 120 Minute (cap) – Off-Centered Ale

  1. Big fan of that DFH 120 cap shot. Great work, as usual.

    1. Thanks! I thought it was an “easy” shot to conceptualize, but turned out pretty.

Best part – these get a spot on my Wall o’ Beer at work!

  2. I like the concept of the Psychopathy shot. The last Enjoy By photo with the calendar in the background is really eyecatching. It looks like it could have been shot for a full page magazine add.

    1. Thank you very much! For many of these – those you mention specifically – there’s a fine line between “I’m going to try and make a beertography picture out of this” and “why aren’t you just drinking the damn beer already?”

It’s nice when I can find that balance.

  3. Got to go with Zombie. Love the texture.
