I really appreciate all you regular visitors and readers out there hiding in the Interwebs and since I’m slightly deviating from normal posting schedule today, I wanted to let you know why.
I’m in the midst of forming another series of posts to highlight our behavior as it pertains to beer, so I’ve been spending my normal writing/researching time this week almost exclusively researching. *pushes nerd glasses up* If you want something to carry you over until next week, you can always plug in your pocket protector and check out the five-part series I wrote about how the Internet changed our beer searching behaviors and vernacular or the three-parter on the craft beer bubble.
But more important, what will I be sharing with you next week? Well, here’s what they call a “teaser” in The Business:
Since 2007, @ratebeer‘s top-20 ranked beers’ avg ABV dropped from 11.53% to 9.76% in 2013 (so far).

I look forward to seeing where this takes us.
Cheers!

All of my favorite beers are even lower than that… looking forward.
I prefer my Berliner Weisse to be in the 7-9% ABV range.
Funny, I am opening one of those tomorrow… Yuzu. I hope it’s decent.
That’s funny. I completely forgot about Yuzu the “Imperial Berliner Weisse”. That’s what I get for trying to be funny.
He beat me to it. I was about to chime in … “But there’s an imperial!” … because AmericaGoHardOrGoHomeFuckYeah
Session beers are becoming more flavorable. Also beer is being enjoyed not only to get drunk off of. Look at Notch Brewing in Ma for more detail on this!
